The All India People’s Science Congress held at Bangalore 1n May 2015  from 22nd to 25th May 2015, has conducted an in depth discussion on the question of Universalizing Good Quality Science Education (UGQSE).

Resolution on Dilution of Environmental Regulations

India is presently facing serious problems on the environmental front. Various industries particularly in the extractive sector, infrastructure and real estate projects, are resulting in serious and sometimes irreversible damage to the environment. This process has only intensified with liberalization and opening up of core and other sectors of the economy to private corporations including multinational companies.

Resolution on Water Resource Management

India is threatened to become one of the water scarce countries in a decade. Nearly 70% of the country's irrigation and 80% of domestic water is drawn from our fast depleting ground water resources. While the above threat may soon assume alarming proportion, the governments at the centre and in different states, in the name of promoting liberalization and economic reforms is opening up this sector to foreign monopoly.
